Here is the list of 7 Actors Whose Talents Were Underutilized by Bollywood, Bollywood is ruled by a few people, It has seen the same group of actors at the top for the past three decades, and it doesn’t look like things are going to change in the near future. Throughout this period, many talents emerged who made name for themselves from time to time, but Hindi films did not do justice to their talent and constantly degraded them. Yes, this is because Bollywood films are driven by a ‘hero,” and acting ability hardly determines who gets the films. Here is a list of 12 actors whose talents were not properly utilized by Bollywood and hence were simply poorer for it:
#1.Jaaved Jaaferi
Jaaved Jaaferi, Son of veteran actor Jagdeep, Javed made his debut in Subhash Ghai’s Meri Jung, where he played Amrish Puri’s younger son, Vikram Thakral. He quickly made a name for himself as a break dancer and co-hosted a dance show called Boogie Woogie. His sense of humor was much appreciated, and he was even given small roles in Salaam Namaste and Shaurya, but he didn’t get his due.
#2.Isha Sharvani
Isha Sharvani Debuting in Subhash Ghai’s Kisna: The Warrior Poet opposite Vivek Oberoi, Isha owes her best performance to Luck by Chance, although she picked up a few interesting films like Qarib Qarib Singlle, Double Barrel, and more.
#3.Ashutosh Rana
Ashutosh Rana was the scariest villain of the 90s when he did Dushman and Sangharsh back-to-back. And he soon became stereotyped in bad cop or villain roles in films like Badal, Kasoor, and more. We saw him again in the charming role of Alia Bhatt’s father in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.
#4.Riteish Deshmukh
As the son of a politician, Riteish Deshmukh faced nepotism when he made his debut in the B-grade film Tujhe Meri Kasam. However, he soon found his feet, and filmmakers discovered his excellent comic timing in films that were perhaps more cross than they would have liked. Sangeeth Sivan’s Apna Sapna Money Money is no match for Deshmukh’s portrayal of Kishan or Sania Badnaam. He proves his prowess once again as a villain in Ek Villain.
#5.Chandrachur Singh
He did several films in the late 90s, including Kya Kehna, Josh, and Daag: The Fire, and was soon out of the scene, barring a few patriotic films in the early 2000s. She was last seen in Meera Nair’s The Reluctant Fundamentalist, where she also sings a ghazal.
#6.Shreyas Talpade
After making her debut in Nagesh Kuknoor’s Iqbal, she took the world by storm and even starred opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Om Shanti Om. A few bad film choices later. He was last seen in Inder Kumar’s Great Grand Masti, where he marries a heavyset Urvashi Rautela.
#7.Rahul Bose
A favorite son of Indian independent cinema, Bose has contributed films, working with directors ranging from Dev Benegal to Dev Benegal and many new and Apart from being a marathoner and India’s rugby captain, Bose deserves more sensible offers from Bollywood.
