Insidious: The Red Door Review: The fifth installment of the horrible film series has a dominant pre-credit chronology: a phantom mysteriously weakens in the background at Josh Lambert’s (Patrick Wilson) mother’s interment, setting the tone for a dark and horrible outing. Another approaching scene of Josh’s young son, Dalton’s (Ty Simpkins) outline and drawings, with dark outlines and pencil flakes flying, enhance the strength. Meanwhile, it soon vanished, and the scare only splattered until the end.
