Winners of 70th Filmfare Awards South Telugu: The Telugu film industry has witnessed a grand celebration of cinematic excellence at the 70th Filmfare Awards South with Kerala Tourism. At the 70th edition, the best talents from South Indian cinema were honoured in a glittering ceremony. The show that was held at the prestigious Adlux Convention Centre in Kochi has recognized outstanding achievements in performance, direction, music and technical crafts.

Major Telugu Winners – Big Highlights
The biggest winner of the night in the Telugu categories was ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule.’ It dominated multiple top awards that include the likes of Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Music Album.
The film’s director, Sukumar, walked away with the Best Director trophy. And, as expected, superstar Allu Arjun secured the Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male) award thanks to his powerful performance.
In the critics’ category, Lucky Baskhar, which was directed by Venky Atluri, has received the Best Film (Critics’) honour.
Another major winner was ‘Hanu-Man.’ Teja Sajja won the Best Actor (Critics’) for his performance.
On the female front, Nivetha Thomas won Best Actress in a Leading Role for 35 Chinna Katha Kaadu. The Critics’ Best Actress award went to Kajal Aggarwal for Satyabhama.
