Dhurandhar 2 vs Toxic USA Advance Bookings: The much-awaited box office face-off between the upcoming sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, and Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups is already making the news. As the big-budget movies are set to clash on the big screen on March 19, coinciding with the Eid festival 2026, the early advance booking trends for the movies in the USA suggest that the upcoming sequel starring Ranveer Singh has already taken the lead.
Based on the latest updates, the upcoming sequel starring Ranveer Singh has taken the early advance booking lead over the upcoming action extravaganza starring Yash.
Early USA Advance Booking Numbers Reveal
According to the advance booking numbers reported by the North American market tracker ‘Venky Box Office’, the upcoming sequel Dhurandhar 2 has recorded impressive early advance booking numbers due to the faster rollout of the movie across the theatres in the United States of America.
By March 1, the movie Dhurandhar 2 had collected $33,723 from the advance booking of the movie, selling 1,953 tickets from 209 shows at 151 theatres.
On the other hand, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups has managed to open 122 shows in 81 theatres so far, garnering $3,665 in advance bookings with 189 tickets sold for its premiere shows.
The larger opening has clearly helped the film in favor of Dhurandhar 2, allowing it to garner nearly nine times more than its rival in the process.
Why Dhurandhar 2 Is Dominating the Early Market
The sequel to the film is directed by Aditya Dhar and features Ranveer Singh reprising his role as Hamza, also known as Jaskirat Singh Rangi.
The film is a sequel to the massive success that the first film, 2025’s Dhurandhar, saw at the box office, garnering over INR 1300 crore.
The first film also managed to gain traction outside India, earning around $21 million in the US and Canada.
The upcoming film is a high-octane spy thriller that is based on real-life events and takes place in Pakistan’s Lyari region.
The film features a star-studded cast that includes Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and Akshaye Khanna in a cameo appearance.

Toxic Still Has Time to Close the Gap
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the movie reportedly stars the Kannada superstar Yash playing multiple roles and has a darker, more violent, and more action-packed storyline.
Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, and Rukmini Vasanth are a part of the star-studded cast of the movie.
Even though the pace of the movie has picked up, trade experts believe that the pace of the movie could increase significantly once more bookings are added. For instance, the last blockbuster movie of the actor, KGF Chapter 2, had collected close to $7 million in the North American market, and the popularity of the actor has increased manifold since then.
Final Outlook: Early Advantage, Not the Final Verdict
Though Dhurandhar 2 currently leads the advance booking charts by a huge margin, the race has yet to be run, and the movie has a long way to go before release, which is still nearly two weeks away. In the current scenario, the early signs clearly suggest Ranveer Singh’s espionage thriller sequel, making it one of the most closely watched overseas box office battles of the year.
