Manoj Bajpayee’s much-anticipated economic thriller movie “The Silent Saviour Governor” teaser has been launched by the makers now. Inspired by the real-life financial crisis of the 1990s, Bajpayee, as RBI Governor during that crisis, shows how he tackled the situations and prevented the nation from slipping into deeper economic turmoil. The film is headed to thrill the moviegoers on 12th June 2026.

The 2.02-minute teaser offers a glimpse into a tense political and financial backdrop inspired by the 1990s financial crisis. Manoj Bajpayee’s portrayal, who never studied economics, has predicted a year ahead that “India will spiral into an economic crisis”. But does his planned solution work to overcome this national emergency situation? The answer will unfold on 12th June in theatres.
