Mumbai Film Company and Jio Studios’ latest joint venture, Raja Shivaji, has raked in a remarkable ₹61.45 crore (Marathi: 43 crore; Hindi: 18.45 crore) net over the initial 9 days of its domestic run. Driven by the strong word of mouth and weekend trend, the film saw a 21.43% jump on day 10 compared to the 2nd Saturday and minted ₹6.80 crore across 4,063 nationwide shows. Notably, on day 10, the Marathi version added ₹5 crore, and the Hindi version added ₹1.80 crore.
After 10 days of domestic rule, Raja Shivaji’s total net figure has reached ₹68.25 crore, strongly backed by the Marathi version score of ₹48 crore and the Hindi version score of ₹20.25 crore.
The strong emotional connection with the historical subject strongly helped the film to dominate at the box office. Now all eyes are on the 2nd Monday. Expectedly, the
Riteish, Bhagyashree, Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Mahesh Manjrekar, and others starrer film will sustain strong dominance in the second weekdays as well.
