Excel Entertainment and Amazon MGM Studios have released the first trailer for “Mirzapur The Movie.” This upcoming film will see the wildly popular Purvanchal-based crime saga enter the larger-than-life world of movies.
The trailer promises to bring all the drama, power plays, revenge, and black humor, along with sharply written dialogues and larger-than-life violence in its quest for the throne of Mirzapur. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on 4 September 2026.

The Throne Of Mirzapur: Story And Trailer Highlights
The trailer begins by reminding us that the gaddi (throne) of Mirzapur belongs to the person with the most baahubali (sheer power). Once again, the story picks up from where the television series left off—with multiple factions vying for the throne.
Pankaj Tripathi returns as the scheming gangster lord Kaleen Bhaiya, who has so far always stayed one step ahead of his rivals. He is surely in for a treat as he reprises his role as one of the most iconic anti-heroes of Indian television and web series.
Ali Fazal is back as the ambitious Guddu Pandit, whose hunger for power and revenge has propelled him to be one of the most feared men in Mirzapur. Divyenndu also returns to the role of Munna Bhaiya, which has made him a fan-favorite character among Mirzapur’s fans. The new faces are Jitendra Kumar as Bablu Pandit and Ravi Kishan as Babban, raising the intensity further.
