Mumbai, September 6, 2026: Divyenndu, Pankaj Tripathi, and Ali Fazal’s latest Hindi release, “Mirzapur: The Movie,” has successfully joined the iconic ₹50 crore club at the Indian box office, surprisingly, in just the first two days. Directed by Gurmmeet Singh, the crime action thriller debuted with an outstanding figure; on the second day, the film witnessed a remarkable 24.27% surge, resulting in the domestic total net figure successfully surpassing the lifetime collection of Mardaani 3.

Backed by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, the latest delivery, Mirzapur The Movie, registered an impressive ₹32 crore net at the domestic box office across 11,256 shows, which marked 24.27% growth compared to the opening day figure of ₹25.75 crore (as per Sacnilk). The Saturday figure for the Hindi format remains the highest at ₹31.75 crore, while the Telugu market contributed an additional ₹25 lakh net.
The two-day Indian net total figure has surpassed the Half Century club and stands at ₹57.75 crore (Hindi: 57.25 Cr; Telugu: 0.50 Cr). With this Indian total, Mirzapur The Movie officially claimed the 11th position among the highest-net-grossing Hindi films of 2026, just behind Shahid Kapoor starrer O’Romeo (₹72.99 crore).
Surpasses Mardaani 3 Lifetime Collection
The first two days’ Indian net total figure of ‘Mirzapur The Movie’ has successfully beaten the lifetime net earning of Rani Mukerji starrer film Mardaani 3 (₹51.82 crore). The film’s rapid rise demonstrates the enormous theatrical potential. The weekend trend ensures another solid surge is loading on Sunday (day 3), which is expected to push the crucial opening weekend total beyond ₹75 crore.

The film was reportedly made with a budget of a massive ₹250 crore, and the current trend and several business analyst reports indicate ‘Mirzapur The Movie’ has the potential to emerge as one of the biggest blockbusters in 2026.
