Soori lead, featuring the highly anticipated Tamil film “Mandaadi“, also starring Tamil debutant Suhas, was released in theatres on 10 September 2026 and clashed against Karthi’s spy action thriller sequel, Sardar 2. In 2022, Selfie fame Mathimaran Pugazhendhi helmed and penned the film, which was produced by Elred Kumar. The sports action drama began its domestic box office journey with a notable ₹4.75 crore net, out of ₹3.90 crore added by the Tamil version, and emerged as the 8th top Tamil opening movie in 2026.
Apart from the pivotal stars Soori & Suhas, the entertainers also starring are Mahima Nambiar, Sathyaraj, Mithun Jai Sankar, Ravindravjay, Bala Saravanan, Stun Siva & others. Reportedly the film was made with a medium budget of ₹75 crore.
