Article 370 Global Box Office Collection Day 1: The highly anticipated Hindi political action drama thriller “Article 370,” featuring Yami Gautam, Priyamani, Skand Thakur, Ashwini Kaul, Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Arun Govil, and Kiran Karmarkar, made its global debut on February 23, competing against the sports action film “Crakk: Jeetegaa Toh Jiyegaa!” starring Vidyut Jammwal and Nora Fatehi. According to the latest report from distributor Jio Studio, “Article 370” secured an impressive ₹6.12 crore net in India, emerging victorious in this cinematic clash.
“Article 370” has now claimed the 3rd spot among the highest Hindi net openers of 2024. It follows the net openings of Hrithik and Deepika starrer “Fighter” (₹24.60 Cr) and Shahid and Kriti starrer “TBMAUJ” (₹7.02 Cr).
Film critic and business analyst Taran Adash praised the film for its impressive performance at the box office and wrote on his official Twitter handle:

Will be interesting to see how #Article370 fares on Sat – Sun, since it will be back to regular ticket rates… The audience feedback tilts heavily towards positive side and that’s a big plus.
The market tracker Sacnilk.com claimed the political action drama opened with ₹ 5.9 crore net in India.

According to the Jio Studio report, the film grossed a double-digit number of ₹ 11.13 crore at the global box office and wrote, “Ek desh, ek samvidhaan ki taaqat can be witnessed at the box office! Article370 Now In Cinemas!“
According to the market tracker report, the film has achieved a gross of ₹ 6.60 Cr in the Indian market and ₹ 2.00 Cr internationally, resulting in an impressive cumulative worldwide gross collection of ₹ 8.60 Cr.

Directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale, the Hindi political action thriller featured a screenplay written by Aditya Dhar and Monal Thaakar. The film was produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar, with Siddharth Deena Vasani handling the cinematography and Shivkumar V. Panicker overseeing the editing. The music for the film was composed by Shashwat Sachdev. It was released on February 23 under the banner of B62 Studios.
