The film aims to shed light on the tragic real-life incident of the Godhra train burning in 2002 in Gujarat. Initially scheduled for release on March 1, the makers announced a new release date of May 3, 2024, on Tuesday, February 27.

The producer, Ektaa Kapoor, took to Twitter and shared a small video clip of the important character of Vikrant Massey as a news reporter and wrote:
Paying homage to the 59 innocent people who lost their lives in the Godhra train burning incident 22 years ago, today.
