Srikanth Box Office Collection Day 1: The long-awaited Hindi biopic drama “Srikanth” is based on the struggling life journey of Indian visually challenged industrialist Srikanth Bolla, who is also the founder and chairman of Bollant Industries. He was the first visually challenged student at the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Actor Rajkummar Rao played the title role in the film, alongside Jyothika, Alaya F, and Sharad Kelkar, who played important roles in the venture.

According to the film critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh report, the Biopic Drama opened with a decent ₹ 2.41 Cr net in India and registered as the 10th top opener Hindi-language film among 2024’s Bollywood releases, just behind Vidyut Jammwal’s Crakk (₹ 4.00 Cr). He also wrote:
Srikanth puts up a decent total on Day 1… Absence of major films in the marketplace has given the film that extra push… However, the biz needs to multiply on Sat – Sun for a respectable weekend total… Fri ₹ 2.41 cr. #India biz. #Boxoffice
Post the disastrous results of #BMCM and #Maidaan exactly a month ago [#Eid; 11 April], #Srikanth is the first #Hindi film to breach ₹ 2 cr mark on Day 1, which may not be a huge number, but given the fact that it’s a mid-sized film, plus keeping in mind the cold response meted out to releases in April, it’s a fair result, frankly.
What’s commendable is the fact that the makers didn’t resort to #Buy1Get1 [#BOGO] free ticket offer on Day 1 itself to attract viewers, unlike some April releases.
