Raayan opening day global box office collection: Sun Pictures presents the highly anticipated Tamil action thriller “Raayan,” which finally made its grand debut on big screens on July 26th. It was directed, written, and led by the one and only Dhanush, alongside S. J. Suryah, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Selvaraghavan, and others who joined forces with the action entertainer.
It began its box office journey with an outstanding ₹ 13.65 Cr net in India. Out of the collection, the Tamil version contributed ₹ 11.85 Cr net and became the 2nd top opener Tamil net collection movie of 2024, replacing Dhanush’s last film Captain Miller (₹ 8.05 crore), the Telugu version added ₹ 1.6 Cr, and the Hindi version ₹ 0.2 Cr.

Raayan opening day global box office collection surpasses ₹ 20 Cr gross mark!
According to the industry tracker Sacnilk.com report, Dhanush’s Raayan grossed ₹ 15.70 Cr (Karnataka: ₹ 1.8 Cr; APTG: ₹ 2 Cr; Tamil Nadu: ₹ 10.6 Cr; Kerala: ₹ 0.9 Cr; Rest in India: ₹ 0.4 Cr) in the domestic market, and the overseas market grossed around $600K (₹ 5 Cr) on the opening day, taking the total worldwide gross to ₹ 20.70 Cr. Hopefully, the positive word from the movie goers for the film will bring the weekend worldwide collection in the range of ₹ 50–70 Cr gross.
