According to the industry tracker Sacnilk.com report until 3rd September, 3.06 p.m. IST, the Venkat Prabhu directed and wrote film grossed an incredible Rs 12.44 Cr (124389845) from the opening day advance booking after selling 588973 tickets.
The Tamil 2D format is maintaining dominant to contribute the majority collection; the format alone has sold 579389 tickets, which are worth Rs. 12.13 Cr (121343193.08); following that, the Tamil IMAX 2D format has sold 2637 tickets, which accumulated Rs. 21.88 Lac (2188475); and the Telugu 2D format has sold 6947 tickets, which are worth Rs 8.58 Lac (858177) gross. The final advance booking is expected to exceed the Rs 17-18 Cr gross mark in India.
