The GOAT global box office collection day 1: AGS Entertainment banner produced high-octane PAN Indian action thriller “The GOAT” after long anticipation finally debuted on the silver screens globally yesterday, 5th September, and as expected, it opened with a thunder score, over of Rs 126.32 Cr gross at the worldwide box office and surpasses all the past Tamil opening day records in 2024 and became the second biggest global opener film, followed by Prabhas’s epic sci-fi actioner Kalki 2898 AD (Rs 180 crore).
Now The Goat, a.k.a. The Greatest of All Time, is the second Tamil film of all time that conquered the Century Club on the opening day, followed by 2024’s Leo; surprisingly, both are led by the dynamic Thalapathy Vijay.
At the domestic box office, based on the industry tracker Sacnilk.com report, it accumulated Rs 44 Cr net in India; out of the score alone, the Tamil version added the majority of Rs 39.15 Cr net in India, which secured the top spot among the top 10 Tamil net openers in India 2024.
