The Girlfriend teaser out: Recently released, the all-time biggest opening PAN Indian film, Pushpa 2: The Rule, features actress Rashmika Mandanna‘s next romantic drama project, The Girlfriend teaser, unveiled by the makers last night, on 10th December. Alongside Mandanna, Dheekshith Shetty, Rao Ramesh, and Rohini portray crucial roles in the film. Rahul Ravindran directed and wrote the complex love story drama; the release date is yet to be announced officially; as per the latest news update, it might be released in the middle of 2025, in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, ad Malayalam languages.

The 1.34-minute tease focuses mainly on the lead, Rashmika Mandanna’s character; after joining the college, she falls in love with Dheekshith Shetty’s character. However, due to some unexplained reasons, Rashmika Mandanna is bearing some complex situations in their relationship. Hesham Abdul Wahab’s music in the background and Vijay Deverakonda’s voice-over made the teaser more attractive.

Rashmika’s rumoured beau and one of the phenomenal actors, Vijay Deverakonda, took to his official Twitter handle and shared the teaser, captioning it: “I love every visual of this teaser. I am so excited to see this drama unfold. She has been a lucky charm for so many of us actors, being part of our biggest successes. Growing fiercely as an actor, a performer and a star but all the while still remaining the same girl as a person, the same girl i met on sets 8 years ago. Wishing you @iamRashmika all success on your first project where you shoulder so much responsibility. And Dearest @23_rahulr who i know will tell a great story that will move every audience.”
After the teaser grace on the Internet, a fan wrote: “This film seems to be a pure love story, there should have been some thrilling in it” while another fan wrote: “I hope this movie gives out a strong message to the world .. to the young generation. life is just a single chance. not to live it wrong.” and another fan wrote: “The vibe of this movie takes you 12 years back to ‘RANJHANA’ movie of Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor..”
