The film is not going to be the single release; it is set to clash against 2 more noteworthy releases, Kantara: Chapter 1 & Ikkis.

On 14th July, Dharma Production officially took to the X (formerly Twitter) handle and dropped the first look of the lead duo, Varun Dhawan & Janhvi Kapoor, and also officially unveiled the release date of the film on 2nd October 2025. Makers introduced Kapoor’s character as Tulsi Kumari, with the caption: “Dikhne mein bholi bhaali, chanchal pyaari… Lekin andar se melodramatic like Meena Kumari!!! #SunnySanskariKiTulsiKumari in cinemas, 2nd October 2025!”
On the other hand, Varun Dhawan’s character is also introduced as Sunny Sanskari, with the caption: “Sunny Sanskari ki shaayari – ‘Yeh aansoon hain mere, samundar ka jal nahin… Yeh aansoon hai mere, samundar ka jal nahin… Baarish ka kya bharosa, aaj hai…kal nahi!!!’ #SunnySanskariKiTulsiKumari in cinemas, 2nd October 2025!”
