Dev Katta’s Mayasabha starts with a very suspenseful note where the Party MLAs receive frantic calls about suspensions and regroup in a hotel. This scene has a very strong resemblance to Andhra’s actual political history. This sets the tone for the rest of the series, and the show revolves around a high-stakes political Kurukshetra, where ideology, power, and personal bonds clash.
A standout motif that is “Yuddham nee dharmam (War is your dharma)” recurs throughout the series.
Strong Performances and Nuanced Characters
