Dude trailer out: The much-awaited Tamil romantic action comedy “Dude“, starring the dynamic pair Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha Baiju, directed and written by Keerthiswaran, is locked to hit the silver screens on 17 October 2025, on the occasion of Diwali 2025. Ahead of the grand theatrical debut, the makers of the film unveiled the Dude trailer, which delivers a vibrant love story, a blend of romantic comedy and heartfelt emotions against the backdrop of a love story.

The 2.38-minute-wide glimpse introduces us to the charismatic Aravind (played by Pradeep Ranganathan), a.k.a. “Dude”, who is defined by a carefree spirit and rock-solid confidence and who is staying away from love and its complications and doesn’t want to suffer from it. But his self-made shield shatters the moment he meets Kural (Mamitha Baiju), and she makes him experience what he earlier feared. The Dude movie trailer beautifully captures a vibrant blend of romance, comedy, powerful emotions, and drama, promising an overdose of entertainment.

During an interview, lead Pradeep Ranganathan said about Dude: “Dude doesn’t come into the Youth zone.. Love Today was youth zone but can be watched by family audiences.. Dragon 50-50, it had father emotion & education.. Dude is about relationships & What i do for my Mama ponnu.”
