Kalamkaval box office collection day 1 (early estimate): Jithin K. Jose directed and co-wrote the Malayalam crime thriller “Kalamkaval“, led by Mammootty and Vinayakan, which hit the worldwide theatres on 5th December, 2025, under the banner of Mammootty Kampany. Supporting stars of the film are Gibin Gopinath, Gayatri Arun, Rajisha Vijayan and Shruti Ramachandran. According to the reputed news portal Sacnilk.com report, Kalamkaval collected Rs 4.88 Cr net on the opening day till 9 PM. The current box office trend is clearly hinting that the crime thriller is expected to close the debut day in the vicinity of Rs 5-6 Cr net. Reportedly, Kalamkaval was made with a budget of approx. Rs 7-10 Cr, and the opening day trend clearly indicates the film is well on track to recover its production cost within the first weekend at the Indian box office.
