As per the early prediction by the business analyst, Sitaare Zameen Par was projected to begin its box office journey around Rs 8 Cr net, but as per the early estimate report, due to immensely positive word of mouth all across. It kicked off the journey around 40% higher than early expectations, in the range of Rs 11-12 Cr net (early estimate), marked as the 6th top Hindi opening day net scorer in 2025, beating Sunny Deol’s mass actioner Jatt (Rs 9.62 Cr).
The multiplexes are doing the best, as Bollywood Hungama recently reported, “The national chains are contributing 65% to the total business.” As per the early trend, the film is gearing up for a solid surge on the weekend days, but the main risk post-weekend, as the film is only driven by one man, that is Aamir Khan, in the absence of conventionally commercial elements as well, might affect it after the holiday ends.
