The makers of `Baby’, ‘Airlift’, ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha‘, and ‘Special 26‘ are gearing up for the next venture, SARFIRA. Soorarai Pottru director Sudha Kongara is set to collaborate with Akshay Kumar for the first time with the official remake. Recently, Suriya and Jyotika’s production house, 2D Entertainment, took to Twitter and shared an announcement video with the confirmed release date, and wrote, “Dream so Big, they call you Crazy!Sarfira releasing only in cinemas on 12th July, 2024.“

The official Hindi remake of the Tamil drama “Soorarai Pottru,” helmed by Sudha Kongara and based on Simply Fly: A Deccan Odyssey by G. R. Gopinath, was produced by Aruna Bhatia, Suriya, Jyotika, and Vikram Malhotra, with music by GV Prakash Kumar. The film is scheduled to release on July 12, 2024, under the banners Cape of Good Films, 2D Entertainment, and Abundantia Entertainment. Features roped in for the venture are Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Rahika Madan, Seema Biswas, and others.
