Akshay Kumar’s Sarfira Opening Day Box Office Collection Shockingly Low, Even Lower than 2023’s Selfiee Opening Day Box Office Collection and Mission Raniganj

Sudha Kongara directed and wrote much-awaited Hindi drama film “Sarfira” was released yesterday, on July 12. Akshay Kumar played the lead role, alongside Paresh Rawal, Radhika Madan, and Seema Biswas in the crucial roles. The film begins its box office journey with a disaster number of ₹ 2.50 Cr, despite receiving a lot of positive word of mouth. It became the 14th top Hindi net opener film of 2024, replacing Rajkummar Rao’s Srikanth (₹ 2.41 Cr). 

Sarfira Opening Day Box Office Collection Fails to Surpass 2023’s Lowest Scorer Films Selfiee & Mission Raniganj

According to the latest news update report, Akshay Kumar’s Sarfira shocked the fans with its disaster collection. Despite the fact that word of mouth is on the positive side, it fell short of converting into footfalls and opening with an unexpected number, even falling short of breaching 2023’s lowest openers, Selfiee (₹ 2.50 Cr) and Mission Raniganj (₹ 2.80 Cr). On the other hand, Kamal Haasan’s Hindustan 2 opened with a good ₹ 1.20 Cr Hindi net. Sarfira has to perform phenomenally for the rest of the weekend to avoid a flop verdict.
