Amaran global box office collection day 3: Sivakarthikeyan fronted the inspiring biographical drama film “Amaran,” adopted from Shiv Aroor, and Rahul Singh authored the book series “India’s Most Fearless: True Stories of Modern Military Heroes,” which within 3 days entered the phenomenal Rs 100 Cr Club at the global box office. On the other hand, at the Indian box office, while the film was accumulating Rs 40.55 Cr net, on day 3 (Saturday) saw an 11.75% spike and added a similar number as opening day, Rs 21.4 Cr, introducing the total domestic net of Rs 61.95 Cr.
Yesterday, one of the mega stars of India from the Tamil film industry, Rajinikanth, praised Rajkumar Periasamy’s gripping directorial drama. According to the industry tracker Sacnilk.com report, Amaran raised Rs 68.65 Cr (India: 46.65 Cr; Overseas: 22 Cr) gross in 2 days globally, followed by on day 3 the Indian market grossed praiseworthy Rs 24.7 Cr, and the overseas market grossed Rs 7 Cr (approx. $832K). After 3 days, the total worldwide gross breaches the century milestone and stands at Rs 100.35 Cr (India: 71.35 Cr; Overseas: 29 Cr), and secured the 6th spot among the top-grosser Tamil films in 2024. The film has the potential to break the top-grossing record of Thalapathy Vijay fronted The GOAT’s lifetime collection of Rs 457.09 Cr.
It’s worth adding that according to the Prime Media report, Amaran surpassed the notable $700K (around Rs 5.89 Cr) gross mark alone at the North American (U.S. & Canada) market and on the track of the million milestone.
