Anil Sharma unveils his next title Vanvaas: The filmmaker Anil Sharma, who made successful films like Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, Apne, and Gadar 2: The Katha Continues, unveils his next title, “Vanvaas,” today, on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra (12th October). Stars teamed up with the family entertainer are Nana Patekar, Rajpal Yadav and the Gadar 2 pair, Utkarsh Sharma & Simrat Kaur. Sharma will produce, write, and direct it; the release date is yet to be announced, slated to release under the banner Zee Studios, which is the third collaboration between the production house and filmmaker.

On Saturday, 12th October (Dussehra) took to the Twitter handle and shared an announcement video and captioned it: “Parivaar ke liye ek Parivaarik film #Vanvaas Aap sabhi ko Dussehra ki hardik shubhkamnayein! (A family film for the family Vanvas Happy Dussehra to all of you!)”
In August, Anil Sharma said to IANS: “Jo ‘Vanvaas’ hai woh emotions ka Gadar hai. It is a blast of emotions. It is a story in which we have tried to show that a father is above all. It is a film that will get into everyone, and every father will watch the film and then tell their sons to go watch it.”
