The “A“-rated film debuted at the box office on December 1st, with Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, and Tripti Dimri in the leading roles. Animal had an overall 30.43% Hindi occupancy across the domestic theatres on day 7. Morning shows footfalls were 19.17%, afternoon shows footfalls were 27.25%, followed by evening and night shows footfalls of 31.58% and 43.71%.
In the Telugu version, the film had an overall occupancy of 23.43%, whereas the PAN India film Hi Nanna arrived at the box office. Morning shows footfalls were 19.15%, afternoon shows footfalls were 24.48%, and side by side evening and night shows footfalls were 21.67% and 28.40%.
