Assi vs Do Deewane Seher Mein Box Office Day 2: Taapsee Pannu led the courtroom drama “Assi“, and Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mrunal Thakur’s romantic drama “Do Deewane Seher Mein” hit the big screens this Friday, on February 20, 2026. On the opening day, the romantic film dominated the legal drama at the Indian box office.
However, the trend shifted on day 2, as Assi witnesses a solid boost powered by strong content and word of mouth. In contrast, Do Deewane Seher Mein failed to secure a robust boost. On the debut day, Anubhav Sinha’s directorial Hindi courtroom drama, Assi, debuted at the Indian box office with only ₹ 95 lakh net at the Indian box office. On day 2 (Saturday), the film witnessed a robust 68% boost and minted ₹ 1.60 crore (early estimate), taking the domestic total figure to ₹ 2.55 crore. Notably, on Saturday, the film managed the amount across 1,719 shows at the domestic box office, and the overall occupancy was 13.2%.
Directed by Anubhav Sinha, the Hindi romantic drama film was financed by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Anubhav Sinha. Alongside Taapsee Pannu, the film also features Kani Kusruti, Revathy, Manoj Pahwa, and others.
Do Deewane Seher Mein Box Office Collection Day 2
On the other hand, Mrunal Thakur’s ‘Do Deewane Seher Mein’ debuted at the Indian box office with ₹ 1.25 crore net in India. On day 2, the film saw around a 28% spike and added ₹ 1.60 crore (early estimate). With this Saturday boost, the domestic total score has reached ₹ 2.85 crore. Notably, on day 2, the film had an overall 13.4% occupancy across 1,649 shows.
Ravi Udyawar directed the romantic drama film penned by Abhiruchi Chand, and the star-studded team-up for the film includes Siddhant Chaturvedi, Mrunal Thakur, Ila Arun, Joy Sengupta, and others.
