Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 locks the non-theatrical deal: Anees Bazmee’s directorial high-octane horror-comedy sequel to 2022’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, and third installment of the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3,” featuring Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri in the crucial roles, slated to release on 1st November coincidently on the occasion of Diwali. On 27th September, the makers dropped the impressive teaser from the film.
As per the latest report coming out to fuel the buzz, makers decided to unveil the theatrical trailer on October 6. That is not all the report added producer. As per the Pinkvilla source close to the development, the OTT, music, and satellite rights of the high-octane horror comedy have all been sold to the key players of the industry with a huge Rs 135 Cr, marking the biggest to date for the franchise, alongside the biggest deal of the lead Kartik Aaryan’s career.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’s huge success at the box office in the year 2022, when most of the Bollywood films are struggling, makes the franchise more powerful, and now the third installment of the franchise is attracting the leading players of the industry. The report added that the OTT giant Netflix holds the digit right with a hefty sum, following Sony Network acquired the satellite rights, and on the other hand, the music right is held by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Budget would recover within the weekend
T-Series Films and Cine1 Studios banners jointly produced a horror comedy film made around the budget of Rs 150 Cr, which is around 5 times the 2007’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa and 2 times more than the 2022’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Despite the massive budget, makers have racked the majority chunk from the non-theatrical release, following the hype for the film hinting at massive pre-booking. Hopefully, the makers will recover the budget amount within the opening weekend after release, despite the biggest clash against Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again.
