Biker Movie Review (2026): The Telugu movie “Biker“, directed by Abhilash Reddy, has been released, as it introduces motocross racing to mainstream cinema with the blend of an emotional father-son story. The film, which has Rajasekhar and Sharwanand in prominent roles, tries to deliver a mix of action, drama, and sentiment. In my view, Biker stands as a decent attempt in the sports drama genre.

This emotional conflict is the centre of the film as it pushes father and son away from racing and each other. The rest of the story explores their struggles, reconciliation, and comeback in the racing world.

What Works
The biggest strength of Biker is its fresh concept. In Telugu cinema, it is rarely seen where the film is dedicated to a niche sport like Motocross racing.
The father-son emotional arc is handled with maturity. Their bond is portrayed very genuinely, and thanks to the abrupt execution, it looks to avoid any unnecessary melodrama.
The racing sequences are also very good. They are well-choreographed and visually impressive. The climax race takes the cherry on top, as it will surely keep the audience on edge. The action design is smooth as it adds intensity and enhances the overall cinematic experience.
Technically, the film is solid. The cinematography is well thought out, and it captures the racing environment effectively.
What Doesn’t
Biker suffers from a weak conflict. The turning point in the film that separates the father and son is very weakly executed, as it feels more forced and lacks emotional depth. This makes parts of the story predictable.
The emotional core should have been the film’s biggest strength, but it is only partially effective. Additionally, the pacing dips in certain portions, especially in the middle half. There are some scenes that feel very convenient rather than organic, and it ends up affecting the overall flow.
Performances
The lead actor Sharwanand, playing the character Vicky, has done an excellent job to impress with his dedication and physical transformation. His performance is sincere, but the emotional depth could have been explored further.
The actor Rajasekhar playing Sunil Narayan is very smooth, and he stands out with a powerful and commanding performance and adds significant depth to the concept of the film.
Final Verdict
Biker is a sincere sports drama, and it is surely a fresh concept to Telugu cinema. The film excels in action sequences and performances, but it somehow falls short to deliver a strong emotional impact and conflict.
Overall, Biker is a decent one-time watch, and it will be preferred for those who enjoy sports dramas with an emotional touch.
