JP Dutta Comp-up for the Digital Debut With A War Drama based on Real Life Story
As per the latest report from Mid-Day, the war drama Series based on a real-life story has been locked to be directed by JP Dutta. The script for the film has also been confirmed, and the source also added that it will be streamed on “Disney+ Hotstar,” and the makers will soon start the casting, followed by the filming as soon as possible. The series will be backed by Nidhi Dutta, daughter of the director JP Dutta, and will premiere under their banner, JP Genes.

Prior, the series was set to be helmed by the director and Nidhi’s husband, Binoy Gandhi, but due to the busy schedules of Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon-fronted “Ghudchadi,” he left the direction seat for his father-in-law, JP Dutta. The source also added that, “It’s an ambitious project for the Disney+ Hotstar, and the top brass didn’t want to wait too long to kick-start it.”
