Cannes’ winner The Substance OTT: Coralie Fargeat directed and wrote the satirical body horror film “The Substance,” which first premiered at the 77th Cannes Film Festival on 19 May 2024, where it was honoured for the best screenplay by Coralie Fargeat. Following the acclimation on 20 September 2024 for the first time, it debuted in the United Kingdom and the United States theatres distributed by Mubi, and after an impressive response from the silver screens, it is streaming now on OTT platforms.

As per the report, after the overwhelming response from the U.S. and U.K. theatres, makers have released it in the France theatres from November 6, 2024; on the other hand, it started streaming from October 31st on the digital platform Mubi; additionally, it is also streaming on Prime Video and Apple TV in 4K Ultra HD. Now all can experience the film in their homes safely, while at the Cannes premiere, many audiences are walked out due to extreme gore.
