Earlier, the big screen’s debut was premiered as an official selection of Critics’ Week at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival. Following the humongous success, critically and side by side commercially, it premiered on the OTT giant Amazon Prime Video.

The pilot of the venture kicks off with Hae-won (Ji Sung-won), a cold and self-centred woman who works in a Seoul bank. She accepts a friend’s offer, takes a break from her stressful life, and goes on vacation in Mudo, a socially backward Southern island, where she spent her childhood.
After she visited there, she reunited with Kim Bok-nam (Seo Young-hee), who is one of the victims of brutal physical and psychological abuse of years by the island’s cruel male-dominated community. Bok-nam seeks help from Hae-won to save her and her young daughter Yeon-hee (Lee Ji-eun), but Hae-won refuses to help her indirectly.
Accidentally, Yeon-hee was killed while trying to defend her mother in a challenging circumstance. Now how will Bok-nam take revenge for her daughter’s killing?
This supernatural tragedy, drama, thriller is streaming now on Amazon Prime Video, with a runtime of 115 minutes (1 hour and 55 minutes). It received a remarkable 7.2 rating on IMDb, based on 18K individual remarks.
