Crazxy final box office collection day 1: The talented Sohum Shah has been making headlines since his 2018’s critically acclaimed horror fantasy film Tumbbad was re-released last year, which not only smashed the lifetime collection of the original release but also secured the record for the all-time highest repeat run score of Hindi films.
Following the huge repeat run, his lead feature, the much-awaited Hindi thriller “Crazxy,” graced the silver screens this Friday, on 28th February 2025, under the banner of Sohum Shah Films. Despite facing the Vicky Kaushal-fronted massive Chhaava’s Juggernaut, it debuts at the box office with the 9th top Hindi net opening number in 2025.

According to the latest official box office update by the lead Shah, despite limited screens & shows and Chhaava’s triumphant run, the thriller debuted at the Indian box office with an expected line, Rs 1.10 Cr net in India, beating Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan’s rom-com Loveyapa (Rs 0.75 Cr), in terms of opening day score, encountered as the 9th top Hindi net scorer in 2025, just after Azaad (Rs 1.4 Cr).
It received a remarkable 9 rating on the reputed news portal IMDb, based on 4409 individual remarks. The anticipation is high; it will witness a noteworthy growth in the weekend (Saturday, Sunday) days, which can bring the total 3 days net score in the range of Rs 6-8 Cr.
Shah shares the number on his Twitter handle with a thankful note, writing: “Aapka support hai toh humari film hai, Weekend hai, zaroor dekhna. Mazza pakka aayega!” (Your support is there, which means our film is there; weekend still in hand, definitely check it out. The fun will come for sure.)
