Demonte Colony 2 global box office collection day 12: R. Ajay Gnanamuthu helmed and co-penned the supernatural horror thriller film “Demonte Colony II: Vengeance of the Unholy,” the sequel to 2015’s critically acclaimed “Demonte Colony,” which continues to rock at the box office despite the latest children’s drama “Vaazhai” being released this week. The film generated ₹ 28.30 Cr net in the last 11 days, followed by on day 12 (2nd Monday) it added a handsome number ₹ 1.3 Cr and introduced the total domestic net collection of ₹ 29.6 Cr, which will breach noteworthy ₹ 30 Cr mark tomorrow.
The latest released sequel was released on 15 August (Independence Day), in Tamil and Telugu languages, with the star-studded lead Arulnithi reprising his role, alongside Priya Bhavani Shankar, Archana Ravichandran, Tsering Dorjee, Arun Pandian, Meenakshi Govindarajan, and Sarjano Khalid in the supporting roles.

The Arulnithi-led supernatural horror thriller sequel Demonte Colony 2 racked up ₹ 38.50 Cr (India: ₹ 32.50 Cr; Overseas: ₹ 6.00 Cr) gross in the last 11 days globally, followed by day 12th domestic market contributed ₹ 1.50 Cr gross, and the overseas market contributed ₹ 0.25 Cr gross, taking the total domestic gross to ₹ 40.25 Cr (India: ₹ 34 Cr; Overseas: ₹ 6.25 Cr). Now that the Supernatural horror sequel is on the track of Half Century Club, expectation is high to conquer the milestone within the 2nd week.
