Despatch trailer unveils: Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai actor Manoj Bajpayee is back with the crime drama thriller “Despatch,” under the direction and written by Kanu Behl, also co-written by Ishani Banerjee. Stars are ensembled with the venture, including Bajpayee, Shahana Goswami, Arrchita Agarwaal, and Ritu Parna Sen in crucial roles. Bajpayee as Joy Bag portrays a crime journalist, determined to go to great lengths to investigate a Mumbai scam. It has already screened at the MAMI Mumbai Film Festival and the International Film Festival of India, Goa, and is now all set to premiere on Zee5 from 13th December, 2024.

The 2-minute trailer spotlights the key character of the film. Joy Bag (Manoj Bajpayee), who is working with the Despatch news portal in Bombay, indicates this is based on the backdrop of early November 1995 (when Bombay turned to Mumbai). Joy Bag, a brilliant crime journalist, recognises for the first time one of the biggest scams in India, the GDR 2G Scam, which is worth around 80 million.
Slowly Joy Bag discovers that politicians and corporations, alongside film stars, are also involved in this scam. Despite death threats, how will he go to the depths of the truth in the Kanu Behl directorial crime thriller? that will showcase this masterpiece Zee5 original film from 13th December.

The RVSP present Zee5 original film was directed by Kanu Behl, who also penned the plot with the co-writer Ishani Banerjee, financed by Ronnie Screwvala, and stars teamed up with the film are Manoj Bajpayee, Shahana Goswami, Arrchita Agarwaal, Ritu Parna Sen, and others.
