On 22nd December, the makers officially announced that Drishyam 3 is set to hit the theatres on 2nd October, 2026, coinciding with the national holiday of Gandhi Jayanti.

On Monday, December 22, 2025, Ajay Devgn and the makers of the film jointly took to the X (formerly Twitter) handle and officially announced that the 3rd and final instalment of the Hindi Drishyam franchise is now all set to release in the worldwide theatres on 2nd October 2026.

How Did the Hindi Drishyam Franchise Begin?
The Hindi Drishyam franchise began with the remake of Mohanlal’s Malayalam movie of the same name, and coincidentally, the Malayalam Drishyam 3 is also under production, notably with the principal photography kicking off on 22 September 2025. It will be intriguing to see when the Malayalam version makes its theatrical debut.
