Jeethu Joseph penned and directed 2013‘s Malayalam language crime thriller movie Drishyam was made, with the features Mohanlal, Meena, Asha Sarath, Ansiba Hassan, and more. The film was got a huge response after its theatrical release, but unfortunately the movie was available only in Malayalam Language. After becoming a success in Malayalam, director Nishikant Kamat remade this movie in Hindi in 2015 with the features of thriller king Ajay Devgn,Shriya Saran, Tabu, and more, which was also recognized by the audience.
Drishyam Set to Remade in Korean Language
Now the Korean film production company Anthology Studios is attempting to collaborate with Panorama Studios to adopt the Korean version. On Sunday, May 21st, Panorama Studios and Anthology Studios respective superiors, Mangat Pathak and Jay Choi, announced in the ongoing Cannes Film Festival that the Malayalam-language crime thriller film will officially be remade for Korean audiences.
First Ever Collaboration Between Korean studio and Indian Studio
This is a truly proud moment for India, as this is the first time any Korean studio has collaborated with an Indian studio, despite the fact that this is the first time any Indian film has been officially remade in Korean.
