On the other hand, with the strong rival Salaar gearing up to showcase the biggest opening of 2023, the pre-sale already created broke all the records of 2023 and became the biggest Opening Day Advance Booking Gross for 2023 in India after selling over 22.38 lac (2238346) tickets nationwide, replacing Thalapathy Vijay starrer “Leo” (₹ 46.36 Cr).
Dunki Box Office Collection Day 2 bring the India Net Very Close to Half Century Mark
Based on the industry tracker Sacnilk.com report, the film opened with ₹ 29.2 Cr at the domestic box office. Due to the much anticipated Telugu film “Salaar” arrived in theatres on December 22. Unfortunately, the film witnessed a 31.10% collection dip on 1st Friday and generated ₹ 20.12 Cr, bringing the total India net very close to the Half-Century line of ₹ 49.32 Cr.

Dunki had an overall 31.22% Hindi occupancy across the domestic box office on day 2. Morning shows footfalls were 16.54%, Afternoon shows footfalls were 24.73%, 34.32%, and 49.29%, respectively.
Dunki 2 Days Worldwide Gross Collection Marching Towards ₹ 100 Cr Century Club
The Bollywood King Khan’s comedy drama was opened with ₹ 58.00 Cr gross; out of the collection, the Indian market contribution was ₹ 34.80 Cr, followed by the overseas market contribution of ₹ 23.20 Cr.
On the second day, the film witnessed a collection dip at the domestic market, which effected badly on Dunki’s collection, and a total of 2 days of global collection entered the immense ₹ 100 Cr club with ₹ 103.00 Cr. For raising the collection, the Indian market contributed ₹ 59.25 Cr gross and the overseas market contributed ₹ 43.75 Cr gross.
