Dunki Plot Analysis
The story began in 1995 with four friends, Manu Randhawa (Taapsee Pannu), Buggu Lakhanpal (Vikram Kochhar), Balli Kakkad (Anil Grover), and Sukhi Mangal (Vicky Kaushal) in a special appearance, who are staying in a small village called Laltu, Punjab, India. All of them have a similar goal to reach their dream land, London, but unfortunately, they neither have tickets nor the visa to arrive in their dream country.
And a soldier, Hardy, AKA Sukhdev Singh Dhillon (Shah Rukh Khan), entered their lives and made them realise their dream. Now, after 25 years, they unite for another dream. The film mostly runs in flashback. The film unveils the heartwarming challenges they face to reached their dream land, London.
Dunki Movie Review
After five years of hiatus, Rajkumar Hirani is back with a masterpiece. This is actually Hirani’s best work ever, even surpassing 3 idiots. After watching the film, the audience will feel the Hirani style, with the strong essence of emotions, humour and drama.
If we look at the feature performances, SRK comes back for the third time in the running year after the two All-Time Blockbuster films “Pathaan” and “Jawan.” Both of the films are made in the action thriller genre, but if you want to watch SRK’s versatility, we highly recommend you watch the film “Dunki.”
Side by side, the other starrer of the film delivers career one of the best performances, especially Vicky Kaushal, who holds the consistency of the fantastic performance, and in Dunki, he has a special appearance that leaves the audience twitching.
If we focus on the technical aspects, Aman Pant‘s BGM (background music) score is perfect with every corner of the film, and Pritam’s songs are superb. The cinematography is by C. K. Muraleedharan, Manush Nandan, Amit Roy, and Kumar Pankaj, and all of them have done an impressive job throughout the movie.

Overall, Dunki is a Rajkumar Hirani-helmed must-watch Heartwarming Family Entertainer. Take your whole family to closely feel the essence of emotions, humour, laughter, and the finest performance of the King Khan and team. SRK is one more time proof of why he is called “The King Khan of Bollywood.“
