Emergency box office collection day 3 (Weekend): Kangana Ranaut, Zee Studios, and Renu Pitti jointly backed the historical biographical drama film “Emergency,” released on the silver screens on 17 January 2025, under the banners of Manikarnika Films and Zee Studios. Despite the release of another Hindi film, “Azaad,” on the same day, from the opening day, it is performing remarkably. On Sunday it registered the biggest score since release, and exceeded the notable Rs 8 Cr mark, all set to reach the double-digit number on opening Monday.

Following the footsteps on opening Sunday, it scores a remarkable Rs 3.70 Cr net and marks the first Kangana Ranaut-led Hindi film post-pandemic to score over Rs 3 Cr in a single day and brings the total opening weekend net collection to Rs 8.7 Cr. The box office trend is hinting it will maintain a notable hold on the weekdays as well, which is expected to bring the total Indian net score in the range of Rs 15-16 Cr.
