According to the reputed Indian market tracker Sacnilk.com report, on the first day (Thursday), it debuted at the Indian box office with a solid Rs 4.50 Cr net in India, marked as a 16.88% higher score than the Marvel Comics superhero film Thunderbolts (Rs 3.85 Cr), but the specific original English version of the film began its box office journey with Rs 2.4 Cr, making it rank as the 2nd highest English net opening Hollywood film released in India in 2025, just after Thunderbolts* (Rs 2.65 Cr).
The iconic supernatural horror franchise film is gearing up to clash against another high-octane English film, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, led by Tom Cruise tomorrow. Due to high demand, makers of the venture decided to release the action spy thriller film 6 days ahead of the USA screening, on 17th May.
