Today Akshay Kumar shared his upcoming motion poster for “Selfiee” from his social media handles. The drama-comedy is being directed by Raj Mehta, who helmed movies like Good News and JugJugg Jeeyo.
This is a remake of a Malayalam film that starred Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu. The movie name is “Driving Licence” which was released on December 20, 2019.
The Hindi remake will also star Diana Penty and Nushrratt Bharuccha in pivotal roles. And this is the first time in movie history that Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi have worked together in one movie. This movie will be released on February 24, 2023. And this is the first movie of Akshay Kumar in 2023.
As we know, the year 2022 was not good for Akshay Kumar. In 2022, his first movie was Bachchan Paandey, which was directed by Farhad Samji, but the movie was a flop. The second movie was Samrat Prithviraj, which was directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, but that movie also failed to do well in theaters. His third movie was Raksha Bandhan, his fourth was Cuttputlli, and his last movie of 2022 was Ram Setu.
