According to the Pinkvilla report on August 7th, 4 days prior to the film’s release, it crossed the opening day advance booking of “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan,” “Vikram Vedha,” “Laal Singh Chaddha,” “Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar,” and recent released “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,” too.

Anil Sharma helmed Gadar 2, set to hit worldwide theaters on August 11 under the banner of Zee Studios, Anil Sharma Productions, and MM Movies, and will be distributed by Zee Studios. The much-awaited period action drama film will be released on over 3500 screens, which will be the widest release of Sunny Deol’s career. After the opening day, the screen count might increase to over 4500 screens. Expectedly, the film will open with around Rs. 20–25 crore globally.
