Shankar directed and wrote the screenplay for the political action drama “Game Changer,” slated to hit the big screens tomorrow, 10 January 2025, under the banner Sri Venkateswara Creations, with the star-studded Ram Charan, Kiara Advani, Anjali, Samuthirakani, S. J. Suryah, and Srikanth.
One of the biggest Sankranti 2025 releases, Game Changer, racked up Rs 9.91 Cr gross for the opening day pre-booking in the domestic box office. In the North American market, it crossed the $700K mark for the premiere. It could have hit the $1 million milestone, but AMC shows were put on hold due to delays in content loading from production and weather issues in some parts of the US.

According to the industry tracker Sacnilk.com report, Ram Charan and Kiara Advani fronted the entertainer slated to hit the silver screens in IMAX, 4DX, Dolby Cinema, and Qube EPIQ formats for the magnificent audience experience. All formats collaboratively sell 3.53 Lac (353495) tickets nationwide for 9729 shows and gross Rs 9.91 Cr (excluding box seats). The Telugu 2D format dominated the entire pre-booking by selling 2.86 Lac tickets and contributed Rs 8.57 Cr gross.

As per the North American distributor and exhibitor Venky Box Office’s update, global star Ram Charan’s film in the North American market earns $740K gross (approx. Rs 6.36 Cr) for the premiere. The U.S.A market premiere final pre-booking stands at $657,924 (approx. Rs 5.65 Cr), after selling 23,698 tickets from 1,750 shows in 511 locations. The report also added another estimate of $30K from other shows that were removed due to content delays.
