Hari Hara Veera Mallu Plot Summary
The gripping historical drama, set in the 1650s, is centred on Veera Mallu (played by Pawan Kalyan), a Robin Hood-like figure whose fearless persona attracts the King of Kollur, resulting in him being entrusted with a royal mission from the king, but he outwits him and runs away with Panchami (Nidhhi Agerwal). Later, Qutub Shah (played by Dalip Tahil) recognised Veera’s talent and assigned him a far more crucial task: to recover the iconic Koh-i-Noor diamond from Delhi’s king Aurangazeb (played by Bobby Deol). Will Veera be able to complete this mission? What is the key purpose of Veera behind this? Why does Qutub Shah show his deep trust in Veera?
Hari Hara Veera Mallu Review
The power star Pawan Kalyan made a fierce return in the lead portrayal after a long hiatus, successfully leaving an impact through his character portrayal, especially his electrifying appearance as the action avatar, adding significant weight to the character. Alongside the emotional portions rooted in Dharma, highlight both sincerity and strength.
Nidhhi Agerwal‘s role as Panchami feels somewhat underwritten, which could have been written better, but within her limited screen time, she delivers her best for the character. Bobby Deol as the antagonist is menacing and intense, clearly a well-portrayed character. Alongside the other supporting characters, Sathyaraj, Raghu Babu, Sunil, Kabir Duhan Singh, and other work are noteworthy, each leaving a mark in their respective roles.

Director Krish Jagarlamudi’s direction part helps the moviegoers to experience a compelling narrative with detailed and deep narrative; on the other hand, A. M. Jyothi Krishna’s direction part is quite decent compared to Jagarlamudi. The first half of the film is gripping, keeping the audience engaged, while on the other hand the second half is slightly dull.
Gnana Shekar V. S. & Manoj Paramahamsa’s cinematography is well handled, and Praveen K. L.’s editing is also notable in the first half but not in the second half, which was handled decently, alongside the Oscar-winning music composer M. M. Keeravani‘s musical score, the backbone of the film.
Baap Of Movies Verdict
Overall, Pawan Kalyan leads Hari Hara Veera Mallu delivers a strong and captivating first half, but the second half remains decent but less impactful. M. M. Keeravani’s music is engaging and enhances the film’s emotional and dramatic layers. But unfortunately, the weak work of the CGI and VFX undermines several powerful moments. Despite its flaws, this historical action drama is worth experiencing at least once for Pawan Kalyan’s commanding presence on the silver screen.
