The Tarun Mansukhani directorial entertainer for its outstanding hype all across has done well not only in the national chains but also on single screens. Bollywood Hungama recently reported the national chains are looking to rake in the range of Rs 12.25 Cr, which is a good opening for the film. The early estimate of Rs 22-24 Cr net ranked as the 3rd top opening Hindi net-grossing film of 2025, just after Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava (Rs 33.1 Cr) and Salman Khan’s Sikandar (Rs 30.06 Cr).
It also marked Akshay Kumar as the only actor whose back-to-back 3 films come under the top 10 opening Hindi grossing films in 2025, which are Sky Force holds the 5th rank with a Rs 15.30 Cr net opening score, followed by the immensely acclaimed Kesari Chapter 2, which holds the 8th spot with Rs 7.84 Cr, and now Housefull 5.
Bakri Eid Holiday Boost is Loading!
On the second day (7th June), the Bakri Eid holiday definitely helped it to register a notable surge at the box office, and it is aiming to enter the Rs 100 Cr Club by the end of day 4-5.
Tarun Mansukhani directed the film, with the story and screenplay by Sajid Nadiadwala and backed by Nadiadwala himself, Warda Nadiadwala & Firuzi Khan. Stars who teamed up with the film are Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Dino Morea, Jacqueline Fernandez, and others.
