Idli Kadai box office collection day 1: Dhanush led the latest gripping Tamil drama film, “Idly Kadai“, also helmed and penned by Dhanush himself, which arrived on the silver screens on 1st October 2025. On the opening day, the film debuted at the Indian box office with a double-digit number, Rs 10 Cr+ net, marking one of the biggest Tamil openers so far in 2025. Backed by the opening day positive word of mouth and notable pre-booking, the film kicked off the Indian box office journey with Rs 11 Cr net. Notably, the Tamil version alone contributed Rs 10.35 Cr, placing the film among the top Tamil opening day scores in 2025 so far, surpassing the blockbuster film Dragon (Rs 5.4 Cr).
