Jaat domestic box office collection day 1 fails to beat Akshay Kumar led Sky Force
According to the official box office update by the makers in the Indian box office, Sunny Deol, Randeep Hooda and Vineet Kumar Singh‘s pivotal feature film grossed Rs 11.6 Cr, and the net collection stands at Rs 9.62 Cr, marking the 4th top Hindi net opener in 2025, just after Akshay Kumar-led aerial patriotic actioner Sky Force (Rs 15.30 Cr).
The reason for this decent opening might be that it recorded a low advance booking, as the pre-booking opened just a day earlier than the grand release, on Wednesday, followed by the non-holiday Thursday release. The urban centers reportedly had low occupancy compared to the expectation but received good footfalls in the mass circuits’ single screens. The film has the potential to register strong double-digit numbers on the weekend days, and if multiplexes (beyond metros) come on board, the scenario will change and could showcase a well-rounded lifetime collection.
