Jailer Box Office Collection Day 2: The Megastar Rajinikanth starrer’s much-anticipated film of 2023 Jailer finally hit the worldwide box office on August 10th, and on the opening day, the film broke many records, and now the film has become the second Tamil film after “Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2” crossed the worldwide Rs 100 crore club in only 2 days. According to film critic Manobala Vijayabalan’s tweet, Thalaivar’s Jailer grossed a prestigious $2 million only in the USA box office.
Jailer second day occupancy Report
The action thriller on the second day had an overall 62.82% Tamil occupancy; in the morning shows, footfalls were 47.49%; in the afternoon shows, footfalls were 64.28%; in the evening shows, footfalls grew massively with 76.68%; and in the night shows, footfalls were 88.02%.
The film had quite similar occupancy in the Telugu version as well, with an overall occupancy of 61.01%; in morning shows, footfalls were 34.61%; in afternoon shows, footfalls were 57.32%; in evening shows, footfalls were decent (61.83%); and in night shows, footfalls were unpredictable (90.29%). And the film in the Kannada version had an overall occupancy of 30.38%, and the Hindi version got an overall occupancy of 31.73% on the first Saturday.
Jailer 2 Days Box Office Collection Report Analysis
According to the Scanilk.com collection report, The film grossed from Tamil Nadu: ₹ 16.1 Cr; Karnataka: ₹ 4.05 Cr; Kerala ₹ 4.8 Cr; Andhra Pradesh and Telangana: ₹ 4.5 Cr; and the rest of India: ₹ 0.85 Cr. The total India gross collection stood at ₹ 30.3 Cr and the nett collection was ₹ 74.10 Cr.
