Why Jana Nayagan Release Postponed?
As per the Fast Post Report, Jana Nayagan was submitted to the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) more than a month ago under the Tatkal process; despite this huge censor time, the film was ‘under delays’; following that, the makers moved to High Court.
As per the legal updates, the High Court has announced that it will likely deliver its final decision on the morning of January 9th, which is unfortunate, the same day as the scheduled release date. Many critics think, “It’s a targeted political sabotage against Jana Nayagan,” as the film has been passed to over 25 countries worldwide.

Jana Nayagan Officially Postponed
On the 7th January night, two days ahead of the grand theatrical debut, KVN Productions officially announced the postponement of Jana Nayagan, and requested for support. The official statement read:
“It is with a heavy heart that we share this update with our valued stakeholders and audiences. The release of Jana Nayagan, eagerly awaited on January 9, has been postponed due to unavoidable circumstances beyond our control.
We deeply understand the anticipation, excitement, and emotions surrounding this film, and this decision has not been an easy one for any of us. The new release date will be announced at the earliest.
Until then, we humbly request your patience and continued love. Your unwavering support is our greatest strength and means everything to the entire Jana Nayagan team.”
